A Field of DreamsOutdoor Weddings at Jackson Fork RanchJeremy and Danielle had spent countless hours in the six to seven months they spent researching possible wedding sites on the web looking for the perfect setting for their wedding. They estimate they looked at over a thousand web sites located in both New York and California that might fulfill their dreams for their ceremony and meet the needs of their bicoastal families. In the end, they decided to elope and have a simple, stress-free wedding. They knew their families would understand. And they were right. They wanted the beauty in the ceremony and the beauty of the moment to be enhanced by a visually dramatic backdrop for the outdoor wedding they had planned. They have both traveled extensively and are experience gourmet diners so they were also looking for a luxury setting that would meet their expectations and their budget without requiring them to cut corners. They were immediately attracted to the pictures on the site for the Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch. "The facility looked rare and secluded," said Jeremy, who is a United States Marine. Located 50 miles southeast of Jackson Hole airport, and surrounded by the snow-capped mountain ranges, the ranch location is private and stunning. The understated elegance of the Lodge combined with the setting and the idea of a personal gourmet chef was exactly what the bride and groom were looking for. During their stay they discovered there was not a single amenity they wanted that the Lodge didn't have. It turned out to be an all-inclusive experience tailored to their desires. And the gourmet dining was on par with anywhere they've eaten. "I was worried about getting my dress to the location and not having help to get ready," Danielle said, "but Chef Becky and the rest of the staff was there to help in any way they could." Becky, manager of the lodge and Executive Chef for the ranch, made sure the set-up was perfect, brought flowers from her own garden to compliment those Danielle and Jeremy had ordered in nearby Jackson Hole and she even acted as the official witness for the ceremony. Just some of the thoughtful touches that they noticed and appreciated. The couple was married with the sun-setting behind the majestic Wyoming Range and the ambient sounds of the waterfall, crickets in the native grasses, migratory geese flying overhead and the flickering of tea-candles in the hundreds of mason jars that were placed on the terrace stone walls. Their dream is to one day return with family and celebrate the outdoors and the luxury they found at the Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch. A memorable moment and a cherished possession was when Becky presented the couple with a video of the ceremony she recorded on a borrowed camcorder. If you're looking for a spectacular and intimate setting for your wedding, the rustic setting and luxury of the Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch can provide an ideal location for your ceremony and can accommodate a reception for 50-75 people. The Lodge has four suites and seven additional rooms available on the property for your overnight guests. The Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch is the perfect choice for a romantic outdoor wedding.
