Celebrate the Holidays

The Lodge at Jackson Fork Ranch is available for Thanksgiving and Christmas week celebrations. In our part of Wyoming, the snow comes earlier than in most areas, and we embrace the outdoors. For the die-hard fly-fishing enthusiasts, the Upper Hoback is still running crystal clear, and later afternoon hatches are not uncommon. But most trade their fly-rods for cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, or snow-machining. We call it our secret winter playground.

Days are spent skiing the groomed Nordic tracks on the ranch and adjacent hillsides venturing up Kilgore Creek in the foothills of the Wyoming Range. Breathtaking views of the Wind River Range in the distance and the Gros Ventre Range in the foreground are sure to inspire. Sightings of moose, elk, and bald eagles are common during the winter months both on and near the ranch.

An enjoyable day can be had by visiting the town of Jackson. Tour the National Elk Refuge via horse drawn sleigh or choose to gallery hop in over 20 of the town's art galleries including the National Museum of Wildlife Art.

At the end of your day, enjoy a soak in the Jacuzzi, relax in the sauna, or cozy-up with your book in front of the lodge's three fireplaces while the moon rises over the mountains.

Traditional holiday dinners with all the trimmings are a highlight of your visit.

Cost per evening is $1950.00 (three night minimum) for up to 8 persons inclusive of meals.
